“Decent road for 2x4, large sites.”

Six miles from Chiricahua National Monument, we parked the truck camper and used our motorcycle to hike the trails in the monument. As part of the Coronado National Forest, dispersed free camping is widespread and available. 20+ sites to help with the Bonita Springs campground which is nearly always full in the monument.
Car campers have made corners their personal bathrooms with toilet paper and unburied waste common in areas. Please don’t be that person and bury your waste if you do not travel with a toilet. Its a sure way to ruin a wonderful experience, not to mention it’s next to a spring fed stream.

Not sure why other reviews aren't showing up on this location, we read other reviews prior to deciding to go here. Either way, this is a great spot if you have a camper or a smaller trailer/5th wheel. We have a 38' 5th wheel with good clearance and it took us an hour to go the 2.5 miles from the dirt road to the site. It's a 2.5 mile rough path with rocks and burms so that is why good clearance is needed. Once you get there it's great, incredible views and very little traffic or neighbors. In 6 days we had 2 vehicles come by, both hunters that were continuing up the hill another 2 miles for quail.
This gets 3 stars because of the time it took to get to the site. Once we turned off pavement to go south on the dirt road it was 1.5 hours to get to the site with our rig. Verizon coverage was good, 2 bars of 3G and AT&T was okay outside with 1 bar.
