We were very pleasantly surprised by how much our family enjoyed this campground! Pay close attention when booking, because many of the sites are 30 Amp only, but there are also some very nice 50 Amp sites. There are no sewer hookups, but the dump station is close. Our site had a nice view of the lake and easy access to the beach for walking and exploring. We visited in April so we didn’t swim, but we were able to enjoy watching the families of Canada Geese with their young goslings, lots of herons, turtles, and other critters who were taking advantage of shallow pools of protected water near our site. The campground was very windy, so we were not able to safely have a campfire, but I think these strong breezes coming off the lake would feel especially nice in the heat of summer. A nice fishing pier is available to campers. Note that the bath house with flush toilets and showers will not be open for the 2021 season so plan accordingly. We found the campground quiet and pleasant, but please note that we were here during the week, not on the weekend.
