Stayed one night on a long trip across Kansas to California. Cute place, very convenient. Clean and well kept with electric, water and sewer for 20 bucks. Beats the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge where I usually stay. Be prepared for lots of road noise!

My trailer’s axle gave up on me as we were on our way to stay in Dodge City for a few nights, and I was able to pull over right in front of this cute little park. I limped into a spot and was pleasantly surprised to find a $20/night full hookup little park! It took a few days to get it fixed (if you need trailer help in this area, call Joey 785-259-0044) but I was so grateful to have a safe, easy spot to put my home while we waited. At night there’s a bit of road noise from engine breaking trucks, but otherwise this spot is the best it can be for what it is! Lots of room for the dogs to run at the field next door too. ❤️

We were only about 25 minutes from Dodge City so saw that too. Great value.

Full hook ups, but only 5 sites available. We arrived on a Sunday about 5pm and were the only ones here. No bathrooms or showers, but only $20. Plenty of grass to walk our dogs. Dumpster for trash and storm shelter in case of tornados! A little close to the road, but not a busy road.

We were traveling through on our way to Nebraska for a family reunion and found this spot on Campendium. We wanted to see Dodge City tourist stuff but didn’t want to stay in town. This is a great spot clean and level. And there are tornado shelters.

Great spot to stop for a night or two. The campground looks new. It’s clean. Full hook ups. Water/ electric/ sewer. Nice long pull through spots. Has trash dumpster. On the down side, there is a lot of road noise!

But Dodge City is less than 30 minutes driving to the north to visit Boot Hill. Dodge City has a few laundry mats. About 25 minutes to the south in Meade, is the hideout and museum for the infamous Dalton Gang.
We stayed here 5 days, overall i'm satisfied. The only ding is a little road noise, but at night it was ok.

Full hookups on a level site for only $10, now that's a deal you can't beat. This place even has tornado shelters. For the tent campers it doesn't have a bathroom or showers. Hwy 56 and train tracks are close by but really didn't notice any excessive noise.

Right off of Hwy 56 on the western edge of a very small town. Campground has five very long, level and well kept gravel sights. Full hookups at each site, with concrete pads and concrete picnic tables. There is a self pay station at the entrance. The fee is $10/night for full hookups. The campground and surrounding land was donated by (I presume) a local couple. What a great idea. An easy in and out RV spot at a great price for travelers passing through.
The only negative I could see is that the electric and sewer hook-ups could stand to be reversed. The electric is closer the front of the site, while the sewer connection is toward the rear. At least for my rig, reversing these two would work much better. I had to back-up before using the sewer connection to dump tanks prior to leaving.
For those passing through this area looking for a place to spend a night or two, I believe this park is a no-brainer.
