Overall Rating

The road to the park entrance is very rough so drive slowly. There was no one at the check in so you have to call to get the gate code to enter the campground. There is one bath house with hot showers in Loop B. My 20 foot travel trailer would barely fit in my campsite and there is lots of underbrush which provides great privacy. There are very few electric hook ups in the park.

Overall Rating

Let's get the downside over first. There are a limited number of full service sites. Now for the positives. Large sites with lots of room between sites. Nice bathhouse at the end of the B Loop. The tent sites are right by the water. Take a walk around the campground and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Not too far from Halifax or a road trip in the opposite direction along the coastal villages, which is quite lovely.
