This is a hunt camp, and I don't know, maybe because it's not hunting season, it's pretty run down. A primitive campground -- no water, no porta-potties, no picnic table, no fire ring, no trails, no lake or waterway, no nuthin' except lots and lots of mosquitoes.

Access is very easy, located only about a 15 minute drive from Crawfordville, drive down FS 13 and when it turns to dirt road, go about another 3 miles, turn onto Rte 350 and the camp is within 200 yards of that turn.
The campground is partly shaded, fairly level, and grass. The grass was quite overgrown and clearly the campground is not maintained.
There is a creepy derelict trailer with a lot of debris scattered about. (see photo.)
Google maps has this location listed as "Pope Still Lookout Tower". I assure you, there is no tower there.
I was the only one there and it is very quiet with maybe 3 cars passing by per day. So quiet, you won't even hear birds.
AT&T cell service was fluctuating between zero and 1 bar, with zero being the predominant strength. Don't count on being able to access internet.

Easy access to Crawfordville. Only others to use the site while we were there were tenting homeless men who were friendly and not a problem.
