Campground is surprisingly busy for a wednesday night. Gorgeous views, well spaced sites, we stayed on the inside of the loop which is well wooded and elevated above road level. Perfectly level pull through once you got up the hill. Surprisingly quiet for the number of people here, campground is mostly full. Many of the lakeside sites are pull through but double sites, usually with one good level site and a 2nd on the hill. Even sites lake access, odd sites with no direct access. You have to walk through an empty campsite to get to the lake. Shower house is through the woods anove us, visible by the lightscat night, but did not visit it. No visible trail through woods, which have plenty of poison ivy, and the walk by the road would be considerable. Same for the dumpster, its all the way at the entrance. This place would be especially nice in fall and spring. Forecast is 100 today, and the woods cut down any breezes off the lake. Long drive on busy surface roads off 65. Took about an hour with all the traffic in late afternoon. Heard an occasional plane from the airport but that was it. Not even much boating noise.

We stayed in Site 30 for a couple of days in July 2021. This was the first time here for us but it will not be the last. The sites have quite a bit of separation between them and all of them have considerable shade. Our site was on the lake edge and had easy access for the kayak. We didn't use the showers but they appeared to be very clean and in good shape. While kayaking, I noticed quite a bit of trash (bottles and cans) washed up around shore (probably debris from the boaters that frequent the area).

My T mobile hotspot speeds were 44.3 down and 21.4 upload. My Verizon was 17 down and 10 up and my ATT was 13.6 down and 15.8 up. Quiet woodsy feel with a nice steady breeze blowing in off the lake. Not too far from groceries or civilization.
50 AMP with water hook up paved site with fire ring and charcoal grill and picnic table. No sewer hookup but there is a dump station on site. Would be amazing if they added sewer hook ups.
Loved the concrete pad to cut down on mud and dirt and it gave our puppy a nice clean spot to hang out when out side. Enjoyed the shade from all of the trees.

We camped there to visit Nashville. It’s just enough ride from the park to make ya feel your away from a big city. Sites are all pull through an big and well maintained. View is beautiful. Bathhouse is a bit far from the RV sites, but not really a big issue for us. Highly recommend this place.

We had excellent AT&T service (5 bars). The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

We planned to camp here for a couple of nights in mid March. The website wasn’t clear about availability, so we stopped by. Unfortunately, it’s closed for the winter season and doesn’t reopen until May 1.
Camped at Nashville I-24 Campground instead ($34/night though :-/). https://nashvillei24kampground.com/

We have a 38’ 5th wheel. Site number 41, was a pull thru and big enough for any rig with 50/30 amp, water, new picnic table, fire ring and grill. No sewer at any sites at this location. The site was on the side of a hill with a grade coming in and leaving but pretty level on the site with a slight downward lean that was easily fixed with about 2” of lift.
The campground is a small one with a loop where sites on the lake side are down a little and many have “access” to the lake where you could put in a kayak/canoe. There is a boat ramp facility in the complex. The other side of the loop was on a upper side of the hill. Some of these which were not pull thru could be a challenge to back in for a big rig even though the site was large enough.
The single “Restroom” facility was old but clean. Not easy to get to (up a steep hill) and was designed for one person at a time with cold water only. The other 2 shower facilities were also clean and old with good hot water with 2-3 showers. Depending on your site you might have to drive to them.
Campground services include dump station and water filling station. Check in is strictly enforced. Do not arrive before 3 pm and if you are coming from the Eastern time zone this location is on central. Laundry services which are stated to be available were locked when we tried to use them and no hours are published so don’t know how they were. Staff was friendly but very small with limited availability.
Verizon service improved to 3 bars with a MIMO antenna and we had 20+ up and down on internet speed test.

I camped here to be close enough to tour Nashville and not have to long of a drive down to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. This campground is on a lake with some campsites on the shoreline, albeit. I could not see the lake from my site. Do not use site #9 unless you and your vehicle are able to backup a steep hill into an angled narrow site. I had to use my 4wd and cuss words to negotiate it.
