Included picnic table, prep table and grill, fire pit with grill, plenty of fallen wood around for firewood, and a nice path to a quiet portion of the lake. The pad is gravel that could be a lot more level and was just big enough for my 35 foot 5th wheel and truck. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but could use some updating. Camp host was welcoming and helpful. Depending on the season, be prepared for lots of gnats.

The staff was very friendly as we did not realize that we passed the 12PM checkout time by almost 25 minutes !
The weather was very muggy and we used both AC and fan in order to sleep.

Be careful which site you choose as not all have hook ups and its a super hilly area. We saw some pretty gnarly sites as we walked around. As usual I would recommend waterfront sites. Ours unfortunately was not, it was still ok though and level which is a plus. It was a little muddy since we had so much rain.
Signal was not great, but we made do.
The bathrooms have a sign that reads "cleaned with limited resources" so I was expecting a nightmare, but they weren't half bad. Super old, but clean and well ventilated.

Stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night in late August. Even though it was the weekend, the campground and lake were peaceful. We booked the week of and there we still a few big rig spots with electric and water available…I was pleasantly surprised! I was pleasantly surprised again when we arrived and the gorgeous campsite was so close to the water and decently spaced from other sites. Only issue we had was our campsite was pretty steep and we hit our back bumper on the ground when pulling into and out of our spot. Not all the campsites were like that though - the ones right on the water were much more level (we were on the inner ring where the campsites were higher than the outer ring campsites that were right on the water). Would stay again for sure but would pick a different site.
Oh and I should mention that their website was one of the best I have ever used for booking a campsite reservation. We had to move our booking twice and it was so painless!

Hills, woods, lake views. I would check open sites then decide. Most are walk-in lakeside. Beautiful! If you use Shower houses camp close to them. Host very nice and helpful. $30/ night. America the beautiful Senior pass made it $15/night.
I would ABSOLUTELY camp here again!
Grocery store on the way in.

The campground is hilly and many sides require backing uphill to get parked. It is a beautiful campground and well-maintained. It is close to shopping in Murphysboro, and also not too far from Nashville. Our first night there the electricity was out to the whole campground for the night due to thunderstorms. We had quite a bit of rain the whole time we were there however there was some sunny time during the day. The campground restrooms and showers are not conveniently located for all campsites. We did not use them so cannot comment on their cleanliness.

If you need the use of a comfort station/ bathroom get a very close site and be prepared to climb a hill. Facilities need upgrading. Not very convenient at all. Sites very nice. Campground closest Walmart about 15-20 minutes away.

We paid more for a group site bc we wanted waterfront and that was what they had available when we arrived. Our rig is 9’2 and we had no issue with hanging branches or the roads in. The bathrooms were clean, everyone was quiet. They close the gates 10-6 so dont arrive late. We will def stay here again if in the area.

Some of our fellow campers were noisy. Music at 2 am fireworks (hopefully) throughout the evening. The "I'm just trying to have fun" crowd you find most everywhere. Lavergne pd drove thru once before all the fireworks. Otherwise pretty close to everything. And, with some exceptions,, everyone was friendly. Site 11 was not difficult to get into or out of but was very muddy....needs more gravel!
