One night near Hopewell - what everyone said is about right.

Add a terrific staff & great shower pressure.
Nice morning walk.

Bring your version of bug spray.

It’s a nice stop on the way to somewhere and Hopewell.
Clean facilities. Convenient to trails and very, very nice staff!!!

We did need the bug screens….good showers!

Pretty happy with this option as a full service site close (1 mile down the road) to the Hopewell Rocks. The owner, Kirk, was very friendly and accommodating. We did stay in one of the more premium sites closer to the water, but even the standard sites didn't look as cramped as other reviewers have mentioned. We've seen worse. I was... more

Campground served a purpose, close to Hopewell Rocks which is amazing! Our site was maybe 50 X 20, luckily only have one slide, could have shook hands with our neighbor. Wifi was nonexistent, comfort station had just been redone, clean (except shower floors) bright with laundry facilities, as I said it was close to Hopewell Rocks N... more

Overall Rating

The only reason you would stay here is the proximity to the Hopewell rocks. They basically next door. If you pay for one of the premium ($65) sites you would have a view out to the mud flats. If you choose one of their standard sites you are packed in like a sardine.
