This campground was only $2.50 per night with our National Parks pass! There is a lot of dispersed camping all along Hancock Road, but most of it was too sandy for us to attempt with Ponderosa Grove as an option. The campground is rather primitive - no hookups, water, or dump station, but the sites are long and level. We easily parked our TT and F150 inline with 10 feet to spare, plus half the driveway is double-wide.
The campground is located centrally to the things we wanted to do in the area - Zion, Bryce Canyon and, of course, the daily Wave Lottery in Kanab.
Some road noise, but not bad (our site is the closest site to the road).
No Verizon signal - although you could sometimes get a couple of bars from the top of the sand dunes across the street.

The whole experience was excellent. It is in the Coral Sand Dunes areas, but the ATVs are not around. Camp sites are excellent, though if you are planning to grill you will need to bring your own or plan for over the fire. I would have stayed longer if I could have.

All spots have a fire ring and new picnic tables. Great access to Zion, Bryce, Kanab and Pink Coral State Park. There were 2 sets of vaulted toilets we did not use, but they look new. The signs weren't up on the board yet, just some laminated sheets with rules sheets. The road was paved all the way in! What a plus!
They only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because some Class A ran their generator the whole time we where there. All the other groups were great camping buds!
Dry camping 🏕 at it's best.

This campground was delightful. That might be because I was there during the week (October 9-12, 2018), the temperatures were beginning to drop, and there were only two or three other campsites occupied. I was also gone all day touring the area and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. I'm not normally a "campground" traveler, but I truly enjoyed my mornings and evenings here. The grounds were well kept and the vault toilets clean and maintained. There is absolutely no Verizon signal at this campground, but you only have to go toward town on Highway 43 for a few miles to get a usable signal.
There is a some road noise, but that is offset by the location of this site. It is accessible to many nearby attractions and incredible scenery.
