Overall Rating

With my campervan, I opted for a tent site with power (15 amp) that had parking at the tent site. It was large enough to accommodate my Class B, and it was also equipped with a picnic table. Stayed in July, so it was hot, but had plenty of shade in Camp Site 6, Spot F, and my A/C was powered by my battery system -- so no issues getting comfortable. Plenty of water access by foot to relax in the cool waters. In the evening when more people were accessing the power system, the 15 amp power supply would start to trip so I lowered my van's power management system to 10 amp and it was fine for light use & charging my campervan's battery bank.

Overall Rating

We have stayed at Pointes West Army Resort two times and it is one of our favorite places to stay. It is safe, quiet and clean. The sites are decent size and rarely flat. We like the fact that we can be right along the water and enjoy full hook ups. The cell service is decent and we use ATT and VERIZON. Plenty of places to ride bikes, walk and run if you are interested in that.
