Overall Rating
Very rustic, heavily wooded camping spots scattered around a decent size pond. If you are looking for sites with a beautiful view of the water, these are not that. If you’re looking for a spot to boondock for the night, the price is right (free). No services of any kind are available. Cell service is marginal and varies for some reason... more
Very rustic, heavily wooded camping spots scattered around a decent size pond. If you are looking for sites with a beautiful view of the water, these are not that. If you’re looking for a spot to boondock for the night, the price is right (free). No services of any kind are available. Cell service is marginal and varies for some reason by the hour. There is a fair bit of highway noise even though you are about 1/2 mile from the road.

Not all campsites are listed on here. I stayed on one by the creek and it was nice. Lots of flies and trash around certain areas but this area seemed to be cleaner than the others I looked at. No amenities. Right off the highway so be ready to hear that throughout the day and night. Some people coming through but not too busy for a Wed... more

I saw a mattress, armadillo and didn't stay too long. I pushed forward and found a larger better area. Not every site is listed here. They added more camp areas with water access.
