Overall Rating
Gate manned only on weekends, host comes around with your pass. Deserted during the week, packed on weekends. Our site was 4-5 inches off side to side. Pros: AT&T cell coverage was good. Pros: AT&T cell coverage was good. Good hiking at Cleburne, Meridian and Dinosaur Valley State Parks. Some sites have lake view. Utilities worked well.
Cons: Sites are very un-level. Roads in are not great. Bathrooms were poor, not cleaned and one shower didn't work, toilet backs up routinely. No grocery or restaurants nearby. Dump station is 1/8 mile down a one lane dirt potholed road.
AT&T cell service was good, Streamed without boosting. Many local HDTV channels.

Overall Rating
Decent park. The downsides are the run down dump station and the gate is locked after 10pm so no night on the town for those who aren’t old farts.
