We stayed here in the dry camping area for 14 days (which is the max you can do in 30 days when dry camping).
It’s a huge RV park with a gated entry. The full hookup spots require you to stay all Jan-Mar and are in the main area where all the amenities are. The partial hookups and dry camping are out right by the lake. It’s a short walk over to the pool, hot tub, and laundry.
Laundry is nice, $1.50 each for washer and dryer. The hot tub is a nice perk if the jets are working. There is a lot of showers but hot water runs out quick. They also have activities everyday of the month from bingo, line dancing, yoga, etc.
The Customer service is wonderful with quick easy checkin and we could easily get our packages delivered here. The security is also amazing and if you call and ask them, they will ask your neighbors and their generators to be quiet after 10pm. It gets rowdy on the weekend.
If dry camping, Vista Point is the best area but you will experience the worst of the wind. You can definitely get your 40’ rig up there but I would still walk & scout out where you want to park before taking up your larger rig.
We parked just outside the partial hookups bc we liked being a closer walk to the hot tub and showers. We still had beautiful lake views!
Great place for you dog as well! Large grass areas and the lake is nice. There is a trail to walk straight down to lake from the partial hookups sites.
The potable water is behind the gas area so go there first then swing over to the dump next. It has a black tank flush hose there too.
One odd thing is the wild donkeys who come out at night. You will hear them sometimes but never see them, except their poop all down by the lake.
The best hiking trails are over at Spur Cross.

I was thankful to find this place also "on" Lake Pleasant, when Lake Pleasant campground changed their website to prevent online booking less than 2 days in advance; which limited the nights I could stay there. Found this place that "claims" "Lake Pleasant RV resort"... I think that's a stretch. There are no lake views unless you dry camp, their website is challenging an apparently uses algorithms that if you look at it several times price goes up kind of like airlines... I only found one restroom, everyone was literally on too of each other, shade is a premium. Dry camping is a desert sand pit (reminds me of a nascar parking lot without Nascar. It may be great for some but definitely not my idea of camping. Lake Pleasant campground is absolutely a better choice than this RV resort.

My wife and I recently bought our first camper and took it to Pleasant Harbor for our first “glamping” experience. We’re in our 50s and decided this year we’re done sleeping on the ground.
We mainly went here for our first overnighter because it’s a short drive from our home and seemed pretty nice based on pics and reviews. We were super impressed with Pleasant Harbor.
The three staff members we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Our campsite was ready when we arrived and super clean - no trash or weeds. Even though all the sites adjacent to us were occupied, it remained relatively quiet the whole time.
We stayed in a “partial hookup” spot with water and electricity only and everything worked perfectly. We didn’t really use the recreation facilities or general store so I can comment on them, but we did cover the whole property on our morning walk and the whole place was consistently well-maintained. My favorite experience was waking up in the morning to the amazing view of sailboats headed out on the lake with mountains rising up in all directions. We also really enjoyed the well-maintained patch of lawn that our spot backed up to. The only drawback I can think of is there are no fire rings here.
Overall we had a great time And will definitely be back.

We arrived here late in the day for a shakedown of our new Basecamp on a Saturday evening just before sunset. Had our unit parked and settled in a few minutes so we took our dogs out to view the evening sunset (which was a true gift from God.) Spectacular!!! The park made itself was very easy to check into - simply swing by the office for a map and a dashboard tag and then you're off to your site. I know we paid too much for our space but it was at the end of the row nearest the lake and the views were truly spectacular. There was also a huge grassy area in front of our site that was perfect for our two furry babies to run around on. The only thing I would recommend is for a couple of dog poop bag stations as there were more than a few untended piles of poop that some of the less courteous campers had neglected to pick up.
Can't speak to the dining or entertainment on site, but we were treated to a holiday golf cart parade of lit up carts. It was very festive! Overall a great first night and while the weather was perfect during the day, the wind howled at night and threatened our lawn chairs so they got put away. Gorgeous night sky with limited light pollution too.

We dry camped at Pleasant Harbor for 10 nights in February of 2020. First we dry camped in area 52, a nondescript dirt parking lot, where we camped with friends who have a large Class A. On Monday, after they departed, we towed our big fifth wheel up the steepish dirt road to Vista Point where we almost had the place to ourselves, at least until the next weekend. Our big rear window backed up to views of the lake and the mountains in the distance. Dillon's Bayou, the on-site restaurant is OK; we like the waterfront restaurant at Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant Regional Park better. Easy access to water/dump. A pass (can't remember the cost) got all members of our party access to nice bathrooms/showers near the office. Onsite laundry facilities were OK. To my knowledge there are no swimming areas although we did see groups of scuba divers and kayaks can be put in at the boat ramp. We have also dry camped across the lake in the rather small area for dry camping at the North Ramp at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. It was an absolute zoo over the weekends and was only a few dollars less per night. If you can get a site on Vista Point, it's the most scenic dry camping in the area.

We wanted to be commutable distance to Scottsdale (it was about 50 minutes from Lake Pleasant) and the Phoenix area is generally expensive and kid-unfriendly. Pleasant Harbor, on the other hand, was only 16 bucks a night for dry camping and was very kid friendly. There's no need to worry about reservations for dry camping, supposedly they never fill up. Camping is behind a gate guarded 24 hours a day, and the whole area feels very safe. One may purchase an amenities pass for pool and showers. The staff was very friendly. There are fun mountain biking trails accessible just down the road.

There didn’t seem to be a bad spot anywhere. Loved the scenery and took out our 6 year old for a ‘mini’ hike. She lived exploring the shore line and swimming in the pool! Our 12 year old loves the basketball courts and riding scooters around. I liked there was a dog park and the bathrooms/showers were clean. I look forward to learning to paddle board and kayak with rentals on site and a great restaurant/bar with huge water slide into the lake....There seems to be something for everyone! We will book here again.

Restaurant & bar on the lake. Watercraft and water sports rentals. There are many full timers here so they offer a very full social calendar with activities and entertainment. Security 24 hrs. Available are full hookups, partial hookups (E&W) and many dry camping areas. We chose a waterfront location in the temporary section with water and electric. It was great. Nice view and pretty quiet, away from the center of activities.
