How many spots are here? I’m planning on arriving on a Monday in a couple weeks and curious to know how crowded it is...

Stayed here one Saturday night during the off-season and had the whole place to ourselves. It’s quiet, though a little exposed to wind. Next to a nice creek.

This entire area from UT24 and past the creek is extremely popular for dispersed camping. We arrived early in the afternoon. While I was standing in the area that would be our campsite two other people showed up and looked at it as well. Needless to say we occupied it ASAP. I don't know the number but we were at the primary site on the southeastern side of the creek at the end of the entry road where the road goes back down to the creek. Very easy in and out. Great site. I would consider staying multiple days next time.

On the east side...
Plenty of room for a big rig at first spot. There are other smaller spots close to the creek with better shelter from the wind, but check them out before driving down since it sandy in places.
Really close to Capitol Reef. Cathedral Valley Loop has great views. Good info on the NP site.

Good spot to stay if you’re visiting Capitol Reef National Park. The spot we were at was really sandy.

I camped a little further down the road from the river on a beautiful rise overlooking the valley. Very solitary and lovely, easy access to Burro Wash and other hikes on that side of the reef. Fabulous sunrise and night sky.

We liked this place! Nice view.
With a tent you can go near to the river.
We were with only 1 tent en 1 other RV.
We liked this place more than free campground nottom Bull Frog-Road, we looked there first, but that is a barren place. We prefer Pleasant Creek because there are trees etc.

It seems a popular spot (there were at least 5 other parties the night we stayed there); the couple next to us told us that the Capitol Reef visitors center people had told them about it.
Never-the-less, it has great views and is quite pleasant (in May, anyway).

Minutes away from capital reef. Great place to stage overnight. Nice roads and several well spaced sights. Cliffs and river yards away.
