I took the Baja Ferry from Topolobampo and rode here to meet friends for Christmas and decided to stay a month.
I spent Christmas Day on the beach in Cabo.
Nice restrooms and showers and they have washing machines
MotoHobo would stay here again

Playa Norte RV Park is in the neighbourhood of Buenes Aires just north of Los Barriles. It is walking distance to town and located on the beach. For a beach-front site with full hook ups expect to pay $45 USD. We were close to the beach and paid $20 USD for dry camping. This is a very popular town with many snowbirds.
The wifi was painfully slow and for this reason we will not be back. Otherwise the campground was clean, well maintained and well situated. It is directly on a rocky/sandy beach and you can kite surf or get lessons right at the shore. The sites are large and many are shaded. There was also a work center (used to be the office) where the wifi booster is located. You can work from there with nice views of the ocean.
There was full cell phone connectivity and you can see whales and dolphins swimming by if you are paying attention. The campground is located next to a free camping site. We opted to stay at this campground for the increased security and to have access to the bathrooms and showers.

Loved this place on the beach. Nothing fancy. Spent Jan & Feb 2017. Manager on site fluent in English, friendly and helpful. Village of Los Barriles very popular w/ Americans and Canadians. Very mellow vibe.

But just south of this is a free beach that's actually beachfront (Playa Norte has a fence between you and the beach) and in town is an RV park with the same hookups and hot showers, but walking distance to Los Barriles.
If they dropped the price it might be more worth it, but for what the area offers I'd go elsewhere.
