“Crowded with shacks ”

This is a beautiful spot but unfortunately, there is hardly any room to camp as the beach shacks line the beach. The spots in the first review here are mostly not available. The restaurant across the road is JC's and still has great margaritas and seafood.

“Margarita: noun. While technically a mixed drink, may often be a massive bowl of tequila.”

This is primarily a beach full of permanent residents who have transformed small palapas into beach mansions, but there are a few open spots available for overnighters.

Significantly better than nearby El Coyote, because there are no north-of-the-borderers yelling at you to slow down even though you're only driving at 7km/h anyway, and you can also walk across the street to a place called JRs where they will do everything in their power to make certain you are left with a massive raton come the morning. Raton being the word for mouse, or hangover.

Lets just say I have never had a mouse in the morning...

Otherwise, bathrooms, no cell service, and locals in pickup trucks drive around selling empanadas and tamales every morning. You can also rent kayaks here and float around the bay, and word is (though it's apparently illegal) you can easily dive down and source your own clams.

If you do anything, please, enjoy!
