Super bumpy and rocky getting down the road only to lead you to a dangerous pipeline area. Felt sketchy. We ended up going to the nearest rest stop which was less than 10 miles away and it was really nice.

I went to scout this out, and found that the entrance road would be impassible for my 21 ft trailer. First, there was a deep dip with another dip in the bottom of it, that would have grounded the back end of the trailer. I went to scout this out, and found that the entrance road would be impassible for my 21 ft trailer. First, there was a deep dip with another dip in the bottom of it, that would have grounded the back end of the trailer. Then, just before the pipeline installation, there was another dip, in the bottom of which the creek had almost entirely carved the road away.
Camping would be possible in the first hundred yards from the highway, but the surface was very rocky, and highway noise would be loud.

Overall Rating
Descent spot to drycamp near El Paso. This area has many potential spots and can accommodate rigs of all sizes. There are some pipelines running through hear so you have to work around those unfortunately but it has nice mountain views.
