The staff was very friendly, I received a warm welcome. The sites are clean, level and laid out well. I needed a quick overnighter and it was convenient. The campground is very, very close to I-81 so you do hear the traffic. A lot. If you are a light sleeper you may have issues with the traffic noise. That is the only negative in an otherwise very nice site.

Convenient to the two freeways if you’re passing through the area. There are a lot of permanent residents, but sites are clean and maintained. Mostly level gravel/dirt sites. The approach road from the two lane off the highway is fairly long and steep. It is smooth and paved.

Thought this was a really nice to stay with nice help and very clean park for a reasonable price of $45 for early April. No TV reception for me with 4 bar Verizon cell service. Did have some freeway traffic noise.

You do hear constant noise from the interstate, but for me it was just a background noise that made it easy to sleep at night. Bath house was nice. Beautiful creek at the bottom of the campground. Nice pavilion for large events. The entrance road has now been paved. Other upgrades are in progress.

We stayed here for one night as a pit stop in the middle of June. At the beginning of the road that heads down to the campground, was a was a McDonald's and two gas stations. Grounds were nice and well maintained. Gail, was so nice and helpful. We needed a pull through because we didn't want to unhitch. We were able to pick our own site. Our super duty with 8 foot bed and 37 ft 5th wheel fit nicely in the spot. The creek that runs through was absolutely gorgeous. We did get in and get our feet wet. I wish I had more time to bring my chair down and sit in the peacefulness. The have a small playground that could use some updating. No activities. It is near the highway but the noise wasn't enough to bother us or hear at night with a a/c. Bathhouse was a typical bathhouse but very clean. The also have a huge pavilion and grass field that would be great for a family reunion. They have seasonals there but no one was around. The road to get in was long, steep and gravel. When we were leaving, we did need 4wd at the beginning of the road because the tires were slipping on the gravel. They do not have a camp store and the registration office is a very small building. They are renovating the small log cabin next to it but I am not sure what they are doing with it. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay.

Stayed here for one night passing through, the host was extremely friendly and inviting. Took a dip in the creek to cool off in the afternoon. Sites are level and very well kept, some other have mentioned the driveway, it has a gradual grade, just take it slow and steady. Would absolutely stay here again.

Right off the interstate. Clean park. Nice picnic tables, fire pit. Showers and bath house. No laundry. Have to hold shower button for about 5 seconds of spray. Hard to shower like that. Nice shade trees. Creek nearby and a large field where children can play

This campground is right along route 40 and so the sound from the highway is one reason why I gave it three stars. The other reason is the first spot we were given had a broken water hook up, and we had to wait for the host to come and move us to a working site. It’s at the end of a steep but well-maintained gravel road.

The owners are super nice and helpful. The place is beautiful with a meadow, playground, and small river with small waterfall. We loved walking the grounds. It is close to I-81 so you can hear the vehicle noise but it really didn't bother us at all. We would absolutely stay again!
