What a great find! Passed through the Friday of Labor Day weekend and at least half the spots were open. Level sites with concrete pads and electric (20/30/50) for $15. Water hookups for an added few. Right next to the North Platte.

Nice RV place for 1 night. All RV places have hard surface. The town of Torrington looks to be dying slowly. Lots of stores are closing or are closed (incl the chinese AYCE in the town center😩)
USD 15 is an OK price.

Ok, the bad is that the rate increased from $10 to $15 with a 10 day stay limit. The good, all sites now have 50a power. This year same 4 bars I am getting 20+mbps on Verizon and 10+ on AT&T. Campground wifi is running in the 2-3mbps range.

May 31, 2018. Large trees and grass near our site at the west end. The concrete pads still looke brand new. Our site was electric and water. The wifi was good enough for YouTube and games. Better later. Nice town that wants to make a good impression.

This is a great small town park. Major upgrades in 2014. 14 sites each with a dead level concrete pad. Water at each site. 30A power at each site. Site 6 also has 50A power. $10 per night/10 night maximum. Lightly used location. Pay in the shiny new drop box. Someone will stop by during the day to give you the unlock code for the water. Just lock it back up when you leave.
Verizon was ok with a booster but pretty slow without. Sat was fine but would depend on which sites as there are some large trees to the south side of the park.
In talking with the town water department manager there are plans for some more trees and with some funding they will add sewer connection at each spot.
Torrington is east of the Fort Laramie national park. The Homestead Museum is in the old train station and has a good snapshot of the local history.
About 30 minutes away is the Table Mtn Winery. Award winning wines made here in Wyoming. They are also a Harvest Hosts member and is another spot to stay.
There was a lot of improvements done in 2014. 14 total sites. All are dead level concrete pads surrounded by gravel. Didn't measure but Class A's would still have room left over. They are also wide enough that you have patio room. Each one has 30A power and water. Site 6 has 50A as well as 30A. City is making a lot of improvements. One of the city personnel said additional improvements would be more trees, a better view of the river and with some funding adding sewer connections at each site. There is a major railroad track about 8 blocks away but even with heavy coal traffic it really couldn't be heard.
