This town is so cool. Very small and they all embrace the history. The park has hookups and accepts donations. We stayed 2 nights and checked out all the things to see. Fun!!!

Great find after 400 miles of driving and getting dark. I was happy to find a safe place to boondock off the freeway but not totally isolated. Certainly not a destination but a fairly quiet place to get some sleep.

Like others said, free water and sewer. Park across the street. Not much to do in town. Visited Cathedral Gorge State Park down the road.$10 to get in. Not really worth it.
Wind blew hard the whole time we were here.
Other campers pulled in while we were here and left before sundown.

Friendly small town with 10 pull through sites. Very windy out on the highway so we decided to check this place out. Trash cans, water and sewer available.
Nice park across the road.

We were excited to find our first free city park and it did not disappoint. This park has water and sewer and plenty of trash bins. The park was never full when we were there, but there were always at least a few other RVs. It's located walking distance to downtown Pioche, which is very small but fun to check out. We went to Gunslingers for lunch one day, and visited both of the bars in town. It was cool to wander around this "living" ghost town and wonder what it used to be like. There's a donation container (shaped like a tiny RV) and we were pleased to leave some cash for this great stopover.
There's a public laundry up the road at the RV park in town. We couldn't find a propane fill or exchange, the nearest one to our knowledge was in Panaca (exchange at the grocery store).
Note for longer rigs: it was hard to get level from front to back.
As others have mentioned, watch out for the deer EVERYWHERE, every night around dusk.

The City sign says Free RV Park and donations are Greatly Appreciated. This park was nearly full when we arrived. It is Deer season and there are many hunters that come to this area. The sites are gravel between trees but we were able to open slides on both sides. Since the leaves were still on the trees our solar was somewhat restricted but our BattleBorn Batteries kept us supplied with enough power.
Each site appeared to have a water spigot and if you looked under the leaves and or rocks you'd likely find a sewer. Since the park was full, I didn't check each site. It is located across from the City Park on 4th street. The sites are easy to pull or back into. We are 43 ft and we backed in. Plenty of room for a tow. Trash cans are available at nearly every site.
The three State Parks in the area are worth a visit and have some good hiking trails. Two recommended restaurants in town, The Gunslinger for Deli sandwiches and The Silver Cafe for lunch or dinner.

Walking distance to town. Try the Silver Cafe for great food in a wild west mining town atmosphere at excellent prices. The camp sites are simple, water and sewer at most spots. Free, but donation recommended. I experienced quite a bit of wind, but the park was excellent for a free spot. Large trash cans for each site, as well.

The spaces would be tight for a big RV but hey it is free. The city provides water hook-ups and trash cans at each site which is very nice for a free campsite. They do request donations. We were the only ones here which was surprising because there were several rigs at the Cathedral Gorge State Park down the road.

We were the only ones here, probably because it was December. It was quiet. We had plenty of bars for our cell phones. There were water and sewer hook ups that we didn't use. There is an awesome Veterans memorial in the park. On our walk around the park we saw the million dollar court house.
