I’ve stayed here on other trips to Cali, never are many other people around. Has pretty spread out sites, water. The road is deeply potholed and I worried that I would bottom out my car, but luckily I maneuvered it enough to make it. A bit run down but hey, for California it is probably the cheapest campsite around -dispersed/free camp... more
I’ve stayed here on other trips to Cali, never are many other people around. Has pretty spread out sites, water. The road is deeply potholed and I worried that I would bottom out my car, but luckily I maneuvered it enough to make it. A bit run down but hey, for California it is probably the cheapest campsite around -dispersed/free campsites are hard to find in this part of the state.
Access to a few trailheads. Traffic noise from road and nearby dogs barking from houses but whatever it was only for one night.
Added bonus, I had full bars for Verizon.

Overall Rating
We stayed here after coming in late which can go one of two ways. But we felt safe and had a great night. After looking around in the desert all day we decided to come back here and just enjoy. A bit close to the 74 and like a previous review said you can hear neighborhood dogs as well. Still love this low key little place.

Overall Rating
Stayed a couple of nights, quiet nights and beautiful mornings. At times you can hear dogs barking from the community near by otherwise a great place to visit. please folks if the trash doesn’t fit in the trash can don’t place it neatly next to it , take it with you.
