Drove from Prince George to here and wanted a place with hook-ups. Pulled in and asked about getting a spot for the night and he asked if I called in a reservation. The place was deserted, not a single camper when we pulled in about 2:30. The campground is run down and has seen much better days.
I was put in spot 27 but requested spot 28 after seeing the spots. When I pulled around the park to get to my spot you get to see how run down everything is. There are some cabins with broken windows and a broken door right in the middle of the grounds. In fact if you are on the right side of the park you have to walk by these buildings. Campsites 27, 28, 29, &30 are side-by-side with only a couple of feet in between.
The men's bath / shower room has 4 showers and 2 toilets, but one shower and a toilet are out of order. The showers are coin operated and water settings are preset; you cannot adjust water temperature. The 3 showers that work have a dirty hand towel on the floor as a bath mat. There are 2 sinks. I used the sink to shave and there was no hot water. Ended up shaving with cold water. If the campground was full I would understand the lack of hot water but by 7pm there were only 2 other campers that pulled into the park. Of the 30 spaces only 3 were in use.
There is a laundry room next to the men's room. There are 3 working washers and 5 dryers. The washing machine costs $5 and the dryer is $3 to use.
The camp store is actually pretty well stocked but even there they try to separate more money from your pocket. If you buy cold beer from the fridge there is a surcharge; a cold 4-pack costs $1 more, 6-pack $2 more, and 12-pack $3 more.
One major plus is that there is a cellphone tower right behind the park.
I would never stay here ever again.

We were happy to find a FHU campground as the day was very cloudy and our solar not as productive as we hoped. Owner gave us a pull-through site so we didn’t have to detach the toad.
Lots of oil-field workers staying here, but not rowdy or noisy. Some road noise, but it didn’t keep us awake.
It met our needs well for a stopping point on the return from AK to US. Stayed Sept. 28, 2021.
TwoForTheRoad would stay here again
