Very nice staff. Have full hookup options on down to tent sites. Pond for fishing and a pool for swimming. Sites are not paved and can be pretty unlevel but not a dealbreaker. Pet and kid friendly but definitely an older community vibe :)

After months in COVID-19 quarantine, this was our first outing for the year. This is a nice privately owned campground with a mix of seasonal and nightly sites. Not a lot of privacy between sites but we didn’t feel crowded by the other people around us. Couldn’t say too much about the amenities since the public areas (except the bathrooms) were COVID closed. Saw kids & families fishing in the on-site pond. Was relatively quiet, no road noise or anything like that. Dog run area was a nice break for our dogs.
Park is in a great location. Is about a 10-15 minute drive into downtown Ithaca. Robert Truman State Park is just around the corner.
Staff was nice, although we had a pandemic-appropriate lack of contact. They asked us to pre-pay for our stay, which was totally fine and made no-touch don’t-walk-into-the-office check-in quick and efficient.

We stayed at Pinecreek while on a trip around western NY. When I couldn't get a spot at one of the state parks nearby that we wanted we decided to give Pinecreek a try as they had an opening for the night we needed. We arrived early that day, before noon and the staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early since the site was open. The site was big but not level at all. With 4.5" of lift under one side of our unit we were close to level. Each site we noticed did have a picnic bench and fire ring. The campground as a whole seemed very damp, I'm not sure if they had had a lot of recent rain but our site was soft and squishy and there was a very muddy turn we navigated on the way out of the camping area. They have a lot of facilities for the family, a pool, playground, and dog park which I guess drives the price. There is no free wifi available but there is wifi for sale, we chose not to purchase it. Cell signal was pretty bad also. I felt $42 was a little steep for the site we were in even with a full hookup. All in all it is a nice quiet place to stay close to Ithaca and the finger lakes but I don't think we will be staying there again.

Campground is a huge spacious layout. Nothing is cramped. Facilities are manageable! Laundry is iffy. Partial gravel lots. Relatively level.
None of the above were major. It was a good campground to be at to visit Ithaca.

We chose this location because of its proximity to the finger lakes and Ithaca. It's in the country and maybe a half hour drive to most places. It was easy to access, although there is currently a bridge out on the road so PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEBSITE GUIDANCE (I'm shouting at me here, we didn't and did a few circles around Ithaca, including having to work around a bridge with a 9T weight limit (we are 30T). Calling the office we got some great advice on how to get out of our jam and to the campsite by the best route. Also if you have a Garmin RV GPS DON'T just pick the campground name, the address is wrong, but it did make us laugh when we pulled onto a small road and there was an official sign that said: "This is not a campground"!!! Clearly, we are not the first to do that! I have not dinged the campsite for these Access hickups, but have a little because it's still out of the way.
The campground is gorgeous. There are several snowbirds, who were very friendly. There are multiple ways to walk around the site with the dogs and even a fenced off dog park so the fur babies can have a runaround. We didn't use any bathrooms/showers.
The site leveled ok, although it did have a bit of a slope off the gravel track which could have been fun if it was soaking wet. It's gravel/grass, under pine trees. I love pine trees, and they love me because even though I swept the roof off afterward, the pine needle followed us around on our next couple of stops! Hookups worked great. Beware - they charge for electricity, maybe it was because we were on a weekly rate rather than daily, but we hadn't spotted that. We had not done our part to limit global warming, so the bill was about $86 for the week.
Noise: The turn in to the campground is off Rockwell Rd and it runs behind some of the sites on the bottom of the campground. Most of those sites are snowbirds so you probably won't get one anyway, but just be aware that you may hear vehicles. It didn't intrude at all from our site 163 and there isn't that much traffic.
Verizon - 1st site for a while where Verizon didn’t work. Even with a WeBoost and 5 bars 3G I didn’t get a viable internet.
Sprint - yay, a place where Sprint works! With Weboost for 2-3 bars of LTE, sufficient for 5mbps down, 1mbps up.
T-mobile - 2 bars without boost, 3 with. A bit faster and more responsive than Sprint. T-mobile was the go to network for work (we work from home), with Sprint as a backup.
Ignore the negatives, its a lovely place and we really appreciated the space and tranquility.

Pinecreek is about 15 minutes from Ithaca and privately owned so no state park restrictions (yay!). They have laundry but machines are basically outside - so doing it on a rainy day like we needed to wasn't ideal. Free showers and restrooms - nothing fancy but they're clean at the main facility. Showers are small. We didn't use any of the no flush toilets but walked by one and it looked to be in a bad state. We have our own facilities on board though so this did not affect us.
We had electric, water and sewer and the host Sue was super accommodating and friendly. Lots of playground activity (so yes, more noise as a result but to be expected and not at unreasonable hours). There was free live music at the main hall and lots of friendly RVers.
WiFi isn't free but works if you pay for it ($15 for a week and good for 2 devices) but it does make you login every time which is sorta annoying but hey, first world woes!
This site has an awesome mix of trees and open space - so not to shady and not too sunny. Lots of squirrels and songbirds too. :) Minimal road noise - anything you do hear is pretty distant. No airplane or train noise.
Our site was pretty level but we did have to use some blocks.
Overall this was a great, quiet place to stay.

Most recent stay was 07/03/16 thru 07/06/16 (I ‘m late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.
1st we were close to restroom/shower/laundry building [if you want to call it that ~ reason for 2-star rating] best they tear it down and start over – just terrible. Well below expected standards ~ owners / managers should use the facility for a true experience instead of their own bathroom, which I doubt looks like this. In addition to the overall poor condition there is no privacy ~ a communal changing area ~ but 2 good things, it had a couple of hooks and rubber floor mats outside the old and run down fiberglass stalls. The shower curtains were older and in need of replacement but no shelves, or bench for your stuff. The communal sink area was just as bad ~ was one of the worst we’ve experienced after 3 years and 60,000 miles of travels camping all over the country. We were in the section nearest the playground. We camped 4 days as a base camp for finger lakes region and never saw anyone clean them ~ same cigarette butts and trash on the floor we saw when we arrived and when we left.
Note of interest ~ there is another restroom/shower facility adjacent to the pool near the park entrance which was also old and outdated but in much better shape than the one just described ~ we used it instead although it was a long distance from our site. Overall the campground itself is pretty nice; the interior roads were gravel and site were grass/gravel mixed and all sites had a picnic table + fire ring. They were fairly level, large and good space between other sites not squeezed together; there were some permanent seasonal sites but they were all well-kept and not trashy. Some cabins on site for rent plus large grassy areas among mature trees for shade great for tenters ~ and there was a nice swimming pool
Would stay here again IF they improved restroom / shower facilities
