Very easy and friendly check-in, very easy to find spot. It's a large place and the staff put people far apart, so it felt very spacious on this Tuesday evening. Looked in at the laundry and bathrooms and all looked clean.
We will absolutely come again if going this way.

Was able to book an extra night when I realized that I made an error in my itinerary. Stayed 5 days. Even the weekend (when it got busy but didn’t feel crowded) was enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again.
T-Mobile service was 1 bar at LTE and cut out all the time.

Visited the zoo across the street, golfed at Timbers Golf Club and biked the Southern Links Trail-way. Biking from Millington and Columbiaville. Ate lunch at a cute diner at the end of the trail. It was so nice to go back to the campground at the end of a busy day. Also visited Frankenmuth which glad to see lots of visitors. Such a clean city. Meijer is a mile away for last minute needs.

The campground had full hookups and allowed fires in the fire pits. The bath house and laundry were closed, which we assumed was due to Covid-19. Lots of trees made for good shade. We didn't see any long-term campers, which we tend to avoid.
Our only negative would be that there was a large oil tank near camp office. If the wind was blowing toward us we could smell oil or gas fumes. Otherwise, all was well. Try to get a site near the middle or back.
Reservations were old-school via phone and mail (snail-, not email). I don't recall the exact price - the above is an estimate.
We had phone coverage, but oddly enough it was fairly weak despite being in a populated area.

Because it was the end of season I decided to "walk-in". The first thing you see at the front desk is a sign that says "sorry for the inconvenience...no internet, no wifi, no cable." Indeed there wasn't, which these days is a miss @ $40 per night.
Owner was cordial but not friendly. The site & hookups were fine but not more than average. I'd stay here again only because of it's location to Frankenmuth, not on the merits of the campground.

Little rainy and chilly on our weekend stay. Didn’t use the facilities.
