This is a great little campground high in the Sierras, right next to a clean little lake. 8 to 8 quiet time. 10 MPH max on the lake, so great for rafts, SUP and kayaks. Easy to get to just off hwy4. Spots are exactly as long as they say with large rocks at the back, so don't book a spot smaller than your minimum length. Pads are paved but some are worn and not level. fire pits, picnic tables and bear lockers in every spot. Sites are large with space in between you and your neighbors. Pit toilets and water spigots close to every site. Lake is very close, just walking distance. Lots of hiking trails from easy 1.5 mile paved path to the marina to moderate 7.5 mile all day trail. Great fishing for rainbow trout from shore or boat. Near by marina has a store, restaurant and bar; boat, kayak and SUP rentals; and cabins and laundry. No cell service anywhere nearby. Quiet during the week, but can get busy on the weekends.
