Full 5G with Verizon-easy registration process for FCFS. Half of the spots are reservable and half FCFS. There’s a scan code on the sign and it’s an easy process to get signed up and pay.

If you don’t need hookup, this is the campground to use when staying in HJ! Beautiful sites in a wooded area that are well separated and mostly level (not a gravel lot like the in-town parks) with easy access to Pine Lake. There are both reservable (I had trouble accessing the website) and FCFS sites. Each site appears to have a fire ring (free firewood) and a picnic table. We took site 28 which was plenty long enough for our 2 Class B’s and most sites can handle big rigs. If you can access the website for payment it’s $18 vs $20 (2024) if you use an envelope and the drop box. They have a QR code posted at the sign-in kiosk for online payments, but I couldn’t get it to work (my internet I think). If you enjoy fires, the amount you save not paying for firewood “easily” pays for the campsite! We had 3 to 4 bars of LTE cell coverage using T-Mobile and AT&T on the “Bell” network, but the internet was pretty slow. Since we’re from Florida I doubt we’ll be back up this way, but if we do come back, we will stay here!

We stayed here on our way to AK. Half sites are FCFS. Others are reservable on line. Pine Lake is a beautiful lake and they have a nice beach. We stayed one night. Free firewood

Yukon Government campground. $20 nightly rate seemed high for pit toilets and fire ring but nice level sites. Easy access to Kulane National Park. We did not go use the lake - it was still frozen. No cell service (ATT).

We stayed here for one night in our way back to the lower 48. Well maintained with a bunch of varying length/width back in sites and a handful of pull through sites. The park is clean and well kept. Generators are allowed. Quiet hours are 11:00pm -7:00am. There are a variety of different camp site sizes. This park can handle large rigs. Used as a nite stop, did not unhitch, pull thru. Truck & trailer together are 50' and we still have about 15'.

Great government park no hook ups but very clean and free firewood. The lake is so beautiful with the mountains in the background just breathtaking. Big rig friendly has 6 pull thru spaces so get here early. We arrived at 3:30 and only one spot left.
