Pineknot Campground

It's tucked away but just a short drive to the lake. After the snow melts there's a beautiful little creek running through the campground. There's clean bathrooms, the grounds are regularly raked by the camp hosts who are always awesome. Not all sites are created equal, some of them are very tiny and I don't know where you would be able to set up a tent but some are large and have plenty of room for a tent and a hammock even. They all have fire pits, grills, a wood picnic table, and there's water spigots nearby as well as trash and a place to dispose hot ash. 10/10 I love this campground. Also hear tons of coyotes and wildlife at night.
