We stopped here on the way home from Yellowstone National Park. Let me start with the drive up the mountain into the camping area. We have a 28-foot fifth wheel and with the hairpin curves in the road, I don't think I would want to try the drive in anything larger than that. I might even hesitate to drive it with a 28-foot pull behind. We stayed in the left loop but drove through both. Both loops look really nice. The pit toilet that we stayed near was probably the nicest pit toilet that I have ever been in. The people that take care of it did a really great job keeping it clean and smelling nice. As for our campsite, it was nicely maintained and we were privileged to view a beautiful sunset. Nearby there was a creek for our kids (7&4) to play in. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We stayed here the night of Thursday, August 12th, 2021.

We wish we could have stayed longer. Campsites were laid out nicely, but our site 7 connected with a filed to the next site over. This wasn’t a problem but we both had dogs so it could have been if any dogs barked. Decent pit toilet. Road in is very narrow going in. And there were cows on the road. Definitely would come back.

We stayed here for 1 night, arrived at about 5pm on a Tuesday and the campground was less than half full. Absolutely gorgeous views, nearby hiking up to a waterfall. All the amenities you’d need, water, bathrooms, and firewood for sale. The sunset here was UNREAL. Definitely stay here. I had service with Verizon.

If you want to "get away from it all" this is a great spot. It is far from the nearest town and very secluded. Unfortunately, working from "home," it didn't work out for us. We saw some reviews that there was cell service, just limited, so we thought we would check it out. We had no service on 3 devices. Our phones are AT&T, but since our wifi device is supposed to work with whatever carrier has the strongest signal, we were hopeful - sadly, it had no service either. As we both had work the next morning, we spent a short time relaxing and had to move on.

Beautiful camping area about 14 miles from Livingston. The road off the main road is long and narrow. And it is shared by horses and cows - some of which aren't too inclined to move! Luckily it's paved all the way to the campground, so you don't need to worry about mud. Once you arrive, there are two loops. The loop to your right has more trees and privacy, but the left loop wasn't bad either. Some of the sites in the left loop were next to a fast moving stream, which was nice.
Avoid site #18 though. Can't believe that is a valid site. It was super uneven. Not even sure it was large enough for a car to park there. The rest of the sites were excellent. Large and had nice fire pits and picnic tables.
There are 2 toilet pits for each loop (very clean). No showers. My site had no water or electrical but there are water spigots scattered around the loops. I stayed in site #3 Secluded and quiet. Beautiful trees above you - with mountains rising up in the distance. Simply breathtaking.
There's a trailhead in the campground - leading past a couple of falls and ends up at a mountain lake. I didn't see them myself - but a camp neighbor is a local and filled me in.
I didn't see the camp host - or really anyone else. It was very quiet and peaceful. I did get cell signal, which was nice. Overall it was a lovely place - I can see it being very busy on the weekends (I was there on a Sunday night). I didn't reserve my spot, but I'd suggest you do if you go Thurday-Saturday nights.

The lower numbered sites are situated amongst towering trees, which offer more privacy, but would severely limit rooftop solar. By contrast, the upper numbered sites are a bit more exposed and there is plenty of access to overhead sunshine.
Note - site 18 is really a bad spot ... full of dips that would make if very difficult to level. I think the site will be decent for car camping or a really small campervan only.
We had decent Verizon data/cellular under boost and were able to effectively work, but expect big files or larger cloud based applications to be annoying slow at times. We could not secure usable AT&T or T-Mobile. Also, speeds in the evening seemed to slowdown at times.

This is a very scenic campground, many of the sites are quite private separated by dense forest. Some of the parking pads are small, but the site we found was large enough for our rig and truck. Our grassy seating area was huge. Larger rigs may have some issues here. The access road is narrow and windy and we met a few RVs on the way up when we were leaving, which took a little bit of negotiation.
We also had one of the few sites that had only partial shade allowing us to make use of our solar panels.
The whole area of Paradise Valley, that this campground is in, is very beautiful. The nearby town of Livingston (about 15 miles away) is cute, and Yellowstone north (Gardiner) entrance is less than an hour's drive away. There are some trailheads right from the campground.
The campground is reservable online, but we found a spot easily during the week without a booking. If it was First Come First Served, we would have stayed longer. Instead we had to leave earlier than we would have liked as the weekenders with reservations moved in.
We had Verizon signal with a booster that was good enough for us to browse and watch some streamed TV.
