Pine Cliff Resort

We stayed here for only 1 night to take advantage of the full hookups, fill fresh water tank, and take a hot shower. And it was fine for that...This is an old school 1950's style family campground, complete with a cash only business..The site configuration is all over the place with this park. Many different sections, areas and levels even. Some sites close together and some farther apart. Look at a map.
The location is deep within the Pine trees. Right across the road from the large, popular "Oh Ridge" Forest Service campground.

There is no WiFi, but plenty of cell coverage being so close to June Lake.
The staff is what really shines here. Super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It appears people stay here all summer.

Good camping place, they have tons of full hook up spots and some tent spots. Its not your typically packed to the gills trailer park. It’s a little more spread out and in the forest. Which also means there are trees everywhere, so parking could get tricky. Was there over Labor Day weekend and was about 1/2 full, probably due to reservation by phone only. Cash only too.

There were other 5 star rating close to June lake, and this location has 3 star average, so I picked 5 star one. We realized we wanted to stay closer to the June lake and more camping feeling. So I end up coming here and I found out this location was what we wanted. Nice friendly hosts, and nice sites under the forest. 1/4 mile walk to beautiful lake. Yes, there are some downside such as no Wi-Fi, only cash accepted, bathroom seems not perfect etc but definitely I feel three average rating is way underrated.

We arrived on Labor Day Weekend. Nice people running it. Nevertheless, be forewarned, the sites are very close together, and the entire place was packed to the gills. The RV next to us on one side was ten feet away at the most. On the other, maybe twelve feet. Again, nice people running the place, but if you don't want close quarters with your neighbors and all that entails, then this campground is not for you.

The staff were very nice. We pulled up our 26 ft trailer and got a spot unreserved. It was a tight fit and everything is close together but manageable.Our site was grand central station, in front of the bathrooms but there were many nice sites if you reserve ahead. It was very dusty there! We really had to clean things up after our stayed. It’s pretty good access to Yosemite. The store has basic needs at reasonable prices. The staff did not clean the bathrooms! They attempted to but they were nasty. Sprite had no service and WiFi was bad too. It was too noisy and dusty for me but I’m pretty picky.

Pine Cliff RV Campground is in a beautiful location, right next to June Lake. The lake itself is a short walk down a gentle hill, and is absolutely breathtaking.

The grounds are very attractive. The entire park is filled with pine trees; it's like you're camping in the forest. This also makes driving through certain parts of the park a little challenging, because there are trees everywhere. We were in a 35' fifth wheel, and some of turns were very tight, but these were at the back of the park. The campground is clean and well kept.

We stayed in the off-season (May 1), and the park was only about 10% or so full. One warning, they advertise 30amp service, and the plugs at the camp sites are 30amp plugs. However, we blew the breaker and when I went to reset it (it was two campsites away), I saw the breaker was makred "20amp". Run your coach accordingly.

Because of this, I needed to borrow an electric multi-meter from the camp hosts, and he was very accomodating and helpful in lending me one.

The total nightly rate (including tax) was $42/night, no other discounts, and this was for full hookups (30amp). They have rest rooms, showers, and laundry facilities, although we did not use these. They also say the WiFi is "iffy" and it did not work for us. We used our AT&T mobile phone as a hotspot, and had reasonable reception.

We would definitely return here to this campground in the future.
