This campground is just west of Yuma and it served our needs perfectly. We just wanted a roadside park with level spots and reasonable prices. They have 30 amp and 50 amp spots here, the sites are level, full hook up, and mostly pull-thrus. It's a very large park with lots of sites, so I would expect you'd be able to find an available site most days. The folks at the front desk were very nice and they have obviously been working hard to maintain and upgrade the campground.
The only downsides are the road noise (the park is right near the highway, so it's convenient for a stopover, but you will definitely hear traffic noise), and they are pretty restrictive on where you can walk your dog. They basically direct you to the campground's perimeter fence and tell you the "pet walk" is outside the fence -- but it's basically just the desert.
None of this was a big deal for us though. We needed somewhere decent for an overnight and this place fit the bill. We will definitely stay there again when traveling along I-8.

There is an additional resort fee; I’m not sure what that is for. It is a fine campground, but doesn’t really merit extra “resort” fee. If I am going to pay an additional fee, I would like to have a working pool, large sites or other amenities. This is a standard “parking lot” style campground. There were some trees throughout the campground.
The campground easily handles big rigs. Sites are close together, but there was plenty of room in the site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Gravel roads through the campground. Each camp site is gravel. Sites are all very level. Each site had a small concrete patio and picnic table. The picnic tables are just tables—no seats. Most tables appeared to be in desperate need of repair.
There is a pool and hot tub area. Both the pool and hot tub are very small. The pool heater was broken the entire week we were there, so it was too cold to use the pool.
Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite.
We would stay here again, simply because of the price. We stayed here because of the location--it was not a destination type campground.
