Got to the top of the hill where I had the most beautiful 360 degree view of rolling green hills with patches of trees and mountains and rock formations. Pulled off the road at the intersection of 14 & 14A. Not terribly level but not too bad. The road up is dirt/gravel and washboard in sections but wide enough for vehicles to pass except in a few places. Wind blew most of the time of course. Great Verizon, a real plus. Some ATV traffic and a few cars but mostly just the wind.

We are so happy camping here in our camper van. As a digital nomad, it can be frustrating not to have great cell service signal. It is the fastest we have ever had here! There are many cell towers that you can see. Besides that, it is the most beautiful setting, with buttes and rolling hills. We are very happy here!

Pretty quiet except for the sounds of the highway. A couple of ATVs went by on Friday.
Free water at nearby visitors center was super convenient.
It's a bit breezy and exposed which keeps the mosquitoes down. If the wind stops or the temps cool off then the mosquitoes can be intense.
No problems accessing with RAV4.

Visited July of 2019. Just a short drive off the interstate. Only saw one other vehicle the whole time. No neighbors. Beautiful sunset, full moon, and sunrise. Lots of mosquitoes unfortunately. Was about 60F when we arrived at 8pm. Got down to around 50F overnight. Stayed plenty warm in the tent though. Didn’t bother with a fire though there was a fire pit someone had made with stones.
Sadly someone had burned metal and glass in the fire pit and left it. There was a cigarette butt, tissue, and plastic paint brush on the ground. We took care of those following the “leave things better than you found them” code. Overall had a lovely time!

It is a bit of a drive down a gravel road (mostly well maintained) but the payoff is that no one else goes out here. Big views of the National Forest, and back into Laramie. Cell signal is great!
