We spent one night on site B12 and one night on site B20. The paved area of each of these sites was wide enough for trailer and tow vehicle. A large gravel area had a picnic table and fire ring. The bath and shower house was immaculate, The camping area is laid out in 3 loops with six crescent pull throughs and 19 back in site in each loop. The sites were staggered and angled making backing in very easy. The area in the middle of the loop is covered with typical desert vegetation including Saguaro cacti. Trails within the campground ran from easy to difficult with lengths as short as .2 mile and as long as 2.6 miles. As soon as a camper vacated a site, camp personnel were there to rake the gravel area, remove any residue from the fire rings and pick up any trash left behind. The campground was full bot days of our stay and it's easy to see why.

What a great place to camp. You have to bring in your own water but they do have power. And, with those views it’s totally worth it.

There was easy access to the trails. There was minimal highway sound. We could hear the train, distantly. I did take off a star because you cannot currently dump or fill. There is a working dish wash station, showers, and electrical hook up.

They tell you to come with your tank full. The dump station is open but no black tank wash out.
If people don’t conserve they will go back to port a potties.
They do have 6 overflow pull through sites but no electric and no generators. No one was in them so don’t know if they are using them.
If you have never climbed to the top and are fit enough do so, it’s a spectacular view

Bathrooms were clean, although the shower heads aren’t the best, but can’t complain! Site was electric only but that’s all we needed! A handful of hiking trails to explore which was nice. Visitor Center sold firewood and had a small gift shop. We would definitely stay again! And also, the noise from the highway didn’t bother us a bit!

FYI- the park does not allow campers to receive packages here. Really nice, well maintained, roomy sites in a lovely setting. For us the noise from I-10 and the near constant passing of trains was a deal-breaker. We won’t return because of that. Hard to relax and enjoy the scenery.
