The water and power worked, though we could not reach the water to our regular water hook up, but were able to add water to the tank via a fill spot on the opposite side of the camper. Pump out was by the ball fields. The site was level enough that we didn’t have to unhook. It was a windy day, windy out of the N. This place had big trees, no highway noise, two other folks camping with camper vans. The bathrooms were….in need of cleaning…seemed to be open to all the public, so that may explain why they seemed, uh, not so clean. There was a shower, but I didn’t look in it. For this area of Kansas I thought this was a great stop. Quiet all night, picnic table, shade, what more do you need?

I asked a local where the city park was and as I got close there were signs indicating the camping area. It was nice and quiet and the electric worked. I didn't check out the bath house. I was expecting to pay $10 but the price is now $15 a night and a city employee came around checking to see that we paid which was unusual at a city park in my experience. I had paid and had my stub in the window so I was good. ;-)

It was getting late and we needed to sleep when we saw a sign for camping. There were five or six dump truck drivers living in the park who started early the next morning, but fortunately we wanted to get on the road early so it worked fine. We did not unhook or use water or electricity because the layout of the area where we parked was a little ambiguous and a tractor-trailer rig had overnighted there, too, blocking some spots.
Overall, if I was driving across 36 and needed sleep again. Yes, I would stay there again.

This place is wonderful and has everything you need. Clean flush toilets and showers. Electric for 30 amp and lower, water, and a dump station. The dump station is located beside the bathroom at the baseball field.
