This was dry camping and on grass. A very busy place all electric spots taken. Clean BR’s and a great laundry. 4 washers and 4 dryers $2.50 each. Take a walk toward the sea then turn right and continue. Almost constant sea views, island, bays. Took our dogs. First you go by some houses but then it is a 4 wheel drive track. Best... more

Take a walk toward the sea then turn right and continue. Almost constant sea views, island, bays. Took our dogs. First you go by some houses but then it is a 4 wheel drive track. Best fish by dinner theater the salmon although farmed is as good as king salmon
Cell service good and poor varies due to the time of day and probably the number of people using it. We put up a booster but it didn’t help.
Could walk into Twillingate
Don’t miss the lighthouse.
Many Rockcut Trails. Ask proprietor for hiking map. .

A great campground to explore Twillingate from. Located close to shore. Very quiet location.
Clean restrooms.
We camped here when Twillingate was in a lock down due to a local Covid outbreak. So not much to do in town.

Sites can be difficult to get into/unlevel
Wifi is pretty slow (available at the office)
