This is a great overnight location! The owner is very welcoming and even recommended a great restaurant for dinner! All the sites are pull-throughs and we were in site 2 which was a level, gravel site with full-hookups. Great AT&T cellular with 4 bars 5G. OTA channels brought in 9, but only 3-4 were usable. Would definitely stay again.

Offered us free appetizers at a restaurant in town for his customers . Came put yo meet our dogs, with treats. Great bathrooms and Showers. Large dog park for free roaming exercise. Besutiful fenced in area. Near residential area and freeway but very quiet.
Would stay again. Large, level lots never unhooked our tow dolly and car.

We are so glad we found this little campground. Wevdid not have reservations but found it listed here on campendium so we just drove her to see if we could get a spot. It was very smooth. They had a list if availability and we just pulled into one and then squated up in the morning begore departing. The campground is located at the end of a street and backs up to a pasture. The owners are this little old couple who are just the sweetest people ever. They have a vegetable garden on site frpm which they give fresh veggies to you for free. The cash price of $40 for a full hookup, level pull thru site in a safe area just can't be beat. Easy access on and off the highway with gas stations, groceries stores, restaurants and more all with 5 minutes. Sites are big enough for a comfort stay and easy in and out.

Incredibly friendly welcome. Peter and Barbara were very eager to make sure we were relaxed, comfortable, and had plenty of info on what to do. Site was level, though a tiny bit tight with our neighbors. Barbara always supplied fresh vegetables from the garden, free to take. The campground rules are enforced, and it shows in how clean and pleasant the place is. Didn't use the laundry or restrooms. Starlink worked great, with no obstructions.
Good base for exploring Buffalo, the "UCLA" road, and the nearby mountain drives. A week here was just right.

Convenient to the town of Sheridan. Grounds well maintained and well organized. Facilities are clean. Staff is friendly. Spaces are wide enough for slides buy using main awnings makes it feel very close to your neighbor.

We had a perfect site with grass and a place to walk the dog. There was a small garden on site that I enjoyed looking at. There were deer and antelope grazing adjacent to the park. It was quiet. Good hookups. Site was level. Easy access off I 90. Bonus: cute little town nearby for dinner. We slept great.

We really needed to use wifi. So when we where put in the end of the lot, I was worried. But, the wifi works perfectly. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly and keep the place ship shape. Definitely would recommend.

Owners Pete and Barb are knowledgeable and helpful with tips about good restaurants, scenic attractions and fun things to do. Their laundry, restroom and shower facilities are clean and well-maintained. Barb shares fresh vegetables out of the park garden she cultivates - and she also offers a well-stocked lending library.
Hard-working, helpful and kind folks!

This is a repeat visit for us for two nights, although it’s been a couple of years since we’ve been here. We really enjoy the town of Sheridan and the scenic drives into the Bighorns from there. Drives on 14 and 14A are both exceptional. Other places we have enjoyed are visits to the historic Sheridan Inn, the Bradford Brinton Museum of Western Art, The King Saddlery Western Ropes Museum, Trail End State Historic Site, Fort Fetterman, Fort Phil Kearny, and the Wagon Box Fight. The park has all level, FHU, pull through sites that are 60 feet long, so we can park our 38 foot 5th wheel and our large Dodge 3500 behind it with no issues. People staying only one night can easily stay hooked up too. The interior roads and the sites are all gravel. Sites have picnic tables and grass between sites. The park has a large area for pets to play in. The WiFi works and the campground also provides free cable, so we didn’t even try to set up our portable Dish. Both ATT and Verizon cell signals are fine. The restrooms and laundry are both very clean. The campground is privately owned and the owners live on the premises. Barb has a large garden and leaves fresh vegetable at the check in desk for guests to take for free! The campground offered a cash price discount this year and also offers Good Sam discounts. We like coming here and will return.
