We stayed here one night, which we booked ahead of time on a trip from MN to FL. We booked it based upon mostly positive reviews on this site, plus being on our planned route. We had a FHU site, on a gravel site which was mostly level side to side. The campground is essentially right next to I-555, and the road noise is pretty much constant. Checking in took a bit of time, as the office was locked with no one around (at 1:00 pm). The office person eventually pulled up, and told us which site (for which we had pre-paid) we should go to. The hookups were okay, if a little shop-worn. We would stay here again, if we had to.

Overall it’s a pretty good, quick stop. We needed a place to stop for 2 nights as we travel for work and were headed from Indiana to Oklahoma but needed to stop and go see some family in Alabama and Tennessee and did not want to take a major detour out of way with 2 vehicles, one being a diesel truck pulling a 5th wheel camper. The spot we booked was a pull thru site so VERY easy to get into. The first night we got there was when we were inconvenienced. The RV that was in spot 202 (we were in spot 201 and had “locked” in our spot by paying $10 extra) had helped themselves to our electric box. At first we were like, no big deal we’ll plug into theirs, but soon realized they used our box because theirs had no power. We tried to call the office as we did not want to disturb the neighbors, but no one at the office answered. It was later in the night (about 11:30pm,) but being 8 months pregnant and having just drove 8 hours I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Luckily, my husband is a smart guy and grabbed our adapter which took our 50 amp to a 30 amp and we were able to both be plugged into the same electric box. Yeah, I know we could have unplugged theirs and been like “their problem” (and yes I TOTALLY thought about it) but being in the camper community we do try to take care of each other. They were gone the next day and our new neighbors were able to get someone from the office out to fix the box for them. There is loud road noise, but we sleep with a fan seasonally so we were able to use our fan to block out most of the noise. The campground is conveniently located next to lots of shopping, restaurants, and gas stations. All in all, a decent place to stop for a night or so.

Cute little RV park. Cheap nightly rates. Full hook ups. No WiFi which is fine. Small coin laundry room in main house at front of park. No bathhouse. PET FRIENDLY! Lots of shade throughout park. The owner Dennis, is the nicest guy ever. Most residents are full time stationary. Some decent mobile homes located towards front right hand side of park if your looking at park from highway. This park has been here since 1973 so with that in mind, pretty impressive. Most Overnight spots are located at front of park. The highway is literally right across the street which is a good and bad thing. Noise is loud at busy traffic times of day. But the park is rather quiet. $480 a month if you want to stay monthly or long term. 10/10 would come back. Also near everything there is to do in Jonesboro. Lots of places to eat and shop. For a smaller town, it’s a pretty convenient place to stay.
