Paid $62/night. Was told prices have increased, and it’s a holiday weekend. Very nice campground, but would not normally pay that rate for this type of campground (not a resort).

It’s a full hookup state campground, very clean, spacious, bathhouse and by the lake. Very quiet, a lot of trees. I saw big rigs, trailers and 5th wheels. We really liked this campground.

I am a solo female tent camper. I felt safe and comfortable here. Some sites are more inviting to tents than others. The sites drain well after heavy rains. The bathrooms are relatively clean. Grass could be cut but it’s not terrible.

Percy Quinn is a nice state park on a lake. We had a great weekend stay, and the weather was awesome, a little chilly in the mornings, but otherwise great.
Bathrooms were clean reasonably clean. There was some damage in the one I used. Amenities include a fishing pier and boat launch near the campground. The playground and swimming pool are at the day use area which is a decent drive on the other side of the park. Be sure and hike the nature trail at the north end of the park. Part of the trail is a boardwalk through the swamp(but one section is in disrepair).
Stayed in campsite#6 which is on the lake. Back-in site with asphalt parking. The picnic table has concrete around it, but there is a 2 foot gap of dirt between the asphalt parking and the concrete. There is no BBQ pit or fire ring. 15A/30A/50A, water, and sewer hookups. Site was level side to side and had a slight slope front to back. Awning faced east so we didnt get the evening sun shining underneath. The spot is relatively shaded. Nearest neighbor was at least 20 ft. Away. Roads in the park were asphalt. Campground roads were narrow and there were no signs at intersections in the campground indicting which loop to take for which campsite numbers.
Both AT&T and Verizon had weak signal(2 bars each) and slow data. No WiFi in park. Would stay here again. We camped at Percy Quin State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed in a lakeside site. Beautiful view of sunset over the lake. Nice park to stay a few days and fish or walk. Some roads are a little rough but maintenance was ongoing.

Such a beautiful park, but needs so much work, littered and overgrown. This park could be topnotch, if it was repaired, cleaned up, and maintained. The golf course is beautiful.

We looked around were able to select a level site. It was easy to level our motorhome and we had a relaxing, peaceful evening. We came without a reservation during a slow time, arrived after office hours, and simply had to catch up with the park ranger the next morning on the way out. I imagine this park would be very busy on the weekend. The previous campers left a few cigarette butts lying around, but other than that, the camp site was clean and this a beautiful , relaxing venue.

Our reported price of $28 was retail, no senior discount (65+) and also include a small up-charge for a premium waterfront site.
My biggest complaint here were the restrooms. Flooding the floor with water and pushing it around with a mop is not cleaning. Floors were ALWAYS SOAKING WET while we were here. Cleanliness of the showers were OK, as were the toilets. The bathroom doors were covered in spider webs and mud wasp nests, it would only take a good spray with a water hose to clear this problem away. Also the men's room porch light was not working.
The lady at the check in office wasn't rude to us, just seemed lazy. Never once stood up from her chair during check in and several park exits and reentries, just waved us through.
We visited this campground from 03/07/19 until 03/11/19.

Lots of good fishing in the lake - By the number of fishermen on the banks and pier. Our site was on a little rise just across from the lake with a beautiful view.
McComb is a short drive away - Walmart, Hobby Lobby, grocery stores, fast food etc. Just down the road is a great locally owned seafood restaurant - Mr. Whiskers.
