There are two showers at the bath house, one was broken. No access to the lake unless you come after memorial day. Its 80 degrees. We came from a beautiful camp ground at Land Between the Lakes, where we spent the week. We should have stayed there and never stopped at this camp ground.

The park is very clean and there appears to be a lot to do here. We are here off season in the Covid crisis so most of the facilities are shut down but the camping is open.
The mountain bike trailhead is a few hundred yards from the camping as is mini golf. Beach and other activities are a little more of a hike.
This area is very beautiful. Everything is just starting to burst with color.
Bathrooms/Showers are dated but clean. Power and water is available but they are mostly shared between two sites so hope you have a long cord if you need it.
It's very quiet here but it is the off season.

We were here in the off-season when the campground "office" (shack/hut) is open only Fri night thru Sun. We arrived on a Wed. We did not have a reservation. There were no maps of the campground, no instructions about how to register, no list of available sites. Thankfully a maintenance worker advised that we needed to go to the main lodge to book/pay. So, back we went. Not an easy place to park with a truck and trailer.
There are 2 sections to the campground. The main area and the equestrian area. The sites in the main campground are electric only, less expensive. The sites in the equestrian area are full hook-ups. There are only 8 sites in the equestrian area, all are pull-thru. We didn't need full hook-ups, but honestly, there wasn't a site in the main campground that wasn't ridiculously sloped. And narrow. There is no hope that we would have been able to get the trailer level. Seriously. No hope. I'd say the main campground is likely more for tenters though we did see a small class C in there.
The sites in the equestrian area are lovely. Fairly level, spacious, close to a shower/restroom building which appears to be quite new, or at least newly renovated. We didn't use the showers so can't comment on the showerheads, water pressure, etc.
I thought the price was a bit high for a State Park, but we don't usually splurge for full hook-ups so others might disagree on value for the money. That said, the park is beautiful. It was a gorgeous time of year to be there and it was virtually empty, so that made our stay even more enjoyable. So quiet. There are lots of fantastic trails, a small beach area, pedal boat and row boat rentals, golfing, mini-putt, restaurant, lodge and cabins if you feel like ditching your RV for awhile :)
T-Mobile was hit and miss throughout the park. I walked around with my hotspot to check it out. The sites in the equestrian area had good signal. Elsewhere, lots of dead spots. So, don't count on great signal while you're here. We only care because my hubby needs it for work. I would have been delighted to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to worry about internet coverage.
Renegades would stay here again
