This was a nice city run park on a small lake. The site was private and was right on the lake. The staff was friendly and the showers were clean and close.

We had picked this campground simply because it took reservations and Pukhasa didn’t - with how busy it was this summer we weren’t taking any chances (both places were full when we visited). It was a great choice. Our site was private & easy to access, had full hookups, was close to groceries and only about 20 minutes to Pukhasa. So... more
We had picked this campground simply because it took reservations and Pukhasa didn’t - with how busy it was this summer we weren’t taking any chances (both places were full when we visited). It was a great choice. Our site was private & easy to access, had full hookups, was close to groceries and only about 20 minutes to Pukhasa. Some of the smaller sites were right on the water and had great views. There was a nice trail around the lake and a large playground. We used the laundry facilities which were very clean.

Overall Rating
This park on a lake close to downtown Marathon is great. It’s clean and well kept. Has all the amenities including free wifi. There is a family park attached with swimming, volleyball and a children’s playground. It also has a venue for family gatherings. It is peaceful and you wouldn’t know you were in a town.
