“Exceptional campground on a peninsula”

We spent a whole month here (for 845$) and loved our stay. It was the shoulder season (March-April), so it was pretty quiet on the marina front. However, since our site (and all the sites 1 to 11) back up on the marina parking lot, it can be quite noisy on the weekends and during holidays, with fishermen arriving quite early... The sites are very private with high cedar bushes on 3 sides on those sites. The best sites are the ones by the water, but they are a bit more pricey. The best deal would be site 43 or even 44 at 48$ per night.

There is kayak (10$ per hour or 15$ pour a double) and boat rentals on site. Seals are everywhere and there are beautiful trails at the far end of the campground (the galloping goose, for biking or hiking).

My only complaint is that there is one lady that manages the front desk who is pretty rude and unhelpful, so don't be discourage if you call to make a reservation or when you arrive. There is a very cute little café with a terrasse by the water adjacent to the main office.

The only downside is that you are about 40 minutes from Victoria, but Langford is 20 minutes away for groceries and everything you need.

The Wifi is good for work on most sites, Verizon doesn't work, Bell is 4 bars 4 LTE.

What a perfect RV park in every way! This is a combo RV park and marina right in the ocean on the south of Vancouver Island. Great store and cafe on site, a short drive to Victoria and also amazing pizza and cafe just up the road at My Chosen Cafe. Gorgeous scenery and hiking trails all around, all the RV sites have hedges on both sides for perfect privacy, and the waterfront sites are amazing. Definitely going back!!!
