Great location near restaurants, trails, and river. Tight, rustic sites but manageable. Would stay here again.

Old style call up for a reservation but with new managers as of Sept 1st 2023, at least they answer and generally return calls. Can’t beat the location but don’t expect anything fancy…. For a major Metro area access you can’t do better than Pecan Grove… Fair number of monthly renters but a good batch of short term spots as well.

We actually stayed here in 2021 as a jump off for our trip (we are local Austinites and used it as a way to get settled). Since then it has changed management and they say they do not have spaces to accommodate larger than 35ft (at the time that I called, there was only a 28ft space available). We absolutely loved being there and had no issues pulling in and out with our 40+ft motorhome in ‘21 so it’s a real bummer that they’ve made that change! There’s nothing really in the area quite like it! Gave it a 3 star for the change to small rigs, not necessarily the accommodations. It’s kind of run down but the location is quite literally the best in Austin (and that’s coming from a local!).

We live just 13 miles Southwest of here and wanted to spend the weekend in town eating at some of our favorite restaurants, coffee shop and shopping with great access to zilker park for the kids!
This place is a bit rundown for the rate they charge, but again, the location is key if your just using this to land for some sleep.

If you are tightly wound, or demanding, you won’t be happy here. Terrific place, a throwback to the 50-60’s. Very nice owners, happy to work with you, Cash or check only, no website, no tech. Why bother? They are usually full in the way they do it. I got no reply, but went to the location and got lucky with one open spot. It’s rustic... more

I got no reply, but went to the location and got lucky with one open spot. It’s rustic, pretty tight, dated and great. Awesome location in downtown Austin. Eclectic mix of restaurants and businesses all within walking distance. It’s more than I usually spend, but it’s the location. Definitely a hidden treasure.

I called to make reservation (only way to reserve), called 3 times, left 2 messages, they never returned my call. Apparently they don’t want my business.

This place is a bit unusual. Great location in the middle of Austin. We are crammed in between an Airstream Classic and the mailbox area and as much as I shouldn’t like it, it’s still pretty cool. Not a lot of outdoor space but we made it work.

“New owners are terrible. Overpriced. Don't Trust Them!”
noted 10/14/2022
I had reservations at the park and paid 200 deposit. On my way, I called and found that they had canceled my reservations. New owners would not honor reservation or return deposit and were rude and told me not to come back. Don't trust them!
noted 9/28/2021
I have been calling this RV park for well over 2 weeks. No one answers and the voice mailbox is full. An automatic text comes back asking for my RV details and the dates I want but no one has ever followed up. I am wondering if perhaps the RV park is closed.
