Apparently the owner, Alex, decided he would approach our camper after we left. Our 14 year old was there with our dog on tie up. Though ALL of the rules state dogs must be on leash, his dog was not. There was an issue and my son told him that it would help if his dog was on leash. The owner, Alex, then threatened my son stating that he could kick us out.
We clean up after our dog, but it’s apparent that the other dog has free roam. We came back from a day out to find his dog urinated all over our camper stairs and defecated inches from our rug.
We will never come back.

I was driving through Wyoming with no idea where to stay. I got tired at sundown and found this park online, I was able to reserve a spot, pay for it, check in and hook up without talking to anyone or dealing with anyone which was super handy. The sites are not well marked I had to drive around a couple of times to find the site I paid for, but otherwise everything went smoothly. I slept the night had power and water which is all I needed and packed up in the morning and hit the road again. Easy Peezy! It was clean and very quiet.

Most of the sites were filled with people who live there full-time. The length of the site was barely adequate for a 35’ RV towing a car. It was very quiet because we were in the middle of nowhere. Staff was friendly. They only take cash or checks.

Peak View sits on high ground along US 26 with great views of the Rockies to the west.
There is good wifi, but they admit not the fastest of connections.
Some road noise but not objectionable. US26 is moderately used during the day and less at night.
Verizon had 4 bars and I clocked it at 14.71/5.03 down/up with speediest on my iPhone 6 sitting in the car. 19.79/5.01 using a Wilson 4G booster.
This is close to Wheatland for shopping, Guernsey State park for hiking and water sports, close to several Oregon Trail historic sites. Ft Laramie Historical Site is about 30 minutes east.
They are open year round.
Gary would stay here again
