Stayed here three nights right at the end of the season. Closes November 1 opens March 1 this coming year. I have a 29 foot travel trailer, and a dog. We stayed at site number five, picnic area and beach area perfectly positioned at the shoreline. Wonderful views.

Super quiet, Clean, beautiful views, well-maintained sites, though, not 100% level. Cinder parking areas can be a little tight for some sites for larger RVs though manageable. Excellent campground. Very big rig friendly. Sites are widely spaced. Most sites have view of the lake. Some of the sites are on Little beaches, perfect for kids. Staff very friendly.

Tammy the hostess was great. Gave me a site with my own beach surrounded by trees. Easy to get into pull through site. Could not have spent a better afternoon and night, would have stayed longer but had a date farther east. A bit off the beaten path but that was part of the pleasure. Would love to go back.

Most sites are right on the water and well spaced apart. Well maintained. Nice hiking trails, boat ramp etc. roughly 10 miles from town if you need provisions. Some boat and jet ski noise. We were able to stream on Verizon

The only downside of this place is that it is only open from May 1st to September 29th. The shower buildings are older, but functional and there is a dump onsite, 3 playgrounds and 2 designated swimming area. Cell service was good at our campsite.

“$20 cancellation fee”
noted 4/12/2023
No where on their site does it say there is a cancellation fee. Reservation fee of $3 Canceling 90 days in advance and was still charged $20. That’s the steepest I have ever paid and won’t make that mistake again
