Overall Rating
Well, it was 3 weeks before voting day when we stayed, but I'll save that for later. The park was absolutely packed mostly with locals and long term residence (I think). Our specific site was really pretty good right on the beautiful Toe River, so the view towards the river was great, just don't look the other way. Most sites were quite small with little to no privacy. During this political season golf carts driving around with big flags for their favorite presidential candidate. Totally inappropriate in my opinion. Will not stay there again.

There’s a “dark sky adventure” 15 minutes away and is the largest Public use telescope in the SE US. This campground has year round as well as over night guests with FULL HOOK UPS-30 & 50 amp. They have events throughout the year as well.
