Wonderful stay. Our site was partly shaded and secluded. We had an amazing view of nearby Stonewall Peak. Lots of hiking trails in the area. Although we had to disconnect to fit our 24’ travel trailer and truck, we would definitely stay at this site again. Staff was very friendly.

Nice, clean, some level sites, some really off camber, looks like hiking is the thing to do but the trail to the fire tower is closed now 3/3/20

Alright I get it, it’s not the campgrounds fault but there has been NO ONE to help. I cannot find a ranger number or a campground host number for this campground which would be REALLY helpful. Currently listening to our noisy drunk neighbors smoke pot and continue to blast music and dump lighter fluid on an already giant fire. Again I understand it isn’t the campground’s fault but why isn’t there anything accessible to us? There’s that one number but no one answers. Thanks!

I can't believe there are no reviews of the beautiful campground! It is nestled in the tall pines, with lots of sites. The first night we were there we were the only ones in the campground. A few others joined us over the weekend, but it was extremely quiet. Apparently this is not heavily used in the winter. The bathrooms and showers all seem very new and well kept. And the handicapped camp spots were lovely. However, they say a 30 foot max for this campground, but I would not go in here without having scouted it first. The roads are extremely narrow and twisting with lots of trees close to the road and overhanging it. There are many sharp turns and none are one way. Not sure what we would have done if we had met another driver. We had to try 3 times with our 25 foot to find a spot that we could get into and were sure we could get out of. Most are not angled well for backing in. That said, our site, 62 worked well for us. I did see a large trailer on site 52 as well. Many sites are close together, so this might be less pleasant during busy times. We did have good cell coverage. There is a $2 per night discount off the $30 rate for seniors, but you might have to ask for it.
