I’m not a fan of private campgrounds but give this one a thumbs up. Helpful and friendly staff. We were watching our son’s team play at Georgia Southern. Less than 2 miles from athletic complex.

We loved staying here in our Class A motorhome. Though the sites are grass, they are extremely level and easy to pull thorough. There was plenty of space between sites so we didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors. The showers, restrooms and laundry room were extremely clean and easy to access. We loved staying here in our Class A motorhome. Though the sites are grass, they are extremely level and easy to pull thorough. There was plenty of space between sites so we didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors. The showers, restrooms and laundry room were extremely clean and easy to access. Plenty of dumpsters for trash and great places to walk pets on a leash. All sites offer full hook-ups with electrical choices (50, 30, 20, etc.), sewer, water and cable. The wifi was very good, accessible throughout the park and reasonably fast. We were also blown away by the hospitality of the staff and the friendliness of the folks staying in other RVs. We come to Stateboro several times of year to visit family and will definitely be staying at Parkwood every time! We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.
TIP: Make sure to head into downtown Statesboro for some Vandy's BBQ - a local legend with amazing pulled worked sandwiches!
