We arrived around 12:30 on a Thursday innMid-April. Tons of FCFS spots open. Not all level - but none are too bad that a few blocks can’t fix. Camp host super friendly and helpful. Vault toilets (which I hate) were perfectly clean with no smells. I would have actually used this one if I didn’t have my own in our rig. Great...

Couple updates reopened after major damage from flooding due to fire up the mountain. Fees have been raised to $15. Still lots of trees and shade

We were amazed at the view of the valley and the night sky. Used our life time senior pass to defray$$. Still seems high for no hookups. We would use the campground again, and recommend. We're 24 feet, unsure how longer rigs would do on the turn coming up?

The camp site is not free. There is a pay box next to the camp host site. I paid 18 a night, but all so got a military veterans discount.
