Cute spot, right near a river and a great little trail. Pretty hot once the sun hit it straight on since what appeared to be a decent amount of trees had been taken down due to what I assume was a forest fire in the campground sometime in the last year or two. Easy to walk to Baker Lake across the street and explore areas around there without sleeping amongst the hullabaloo of a giant site full of massive boats and RVs. Tons of mosquitoes but thats the deal with that area so bring your repellent. Absolutely adored the constant sound of the rushing river and splashing a little in it. Had two kiddos and a dog with us, and the site was perfectly suited for animals and family. (Bringing a canopy of some sort is recommended, again for shade due to some deforestation from a recent fire). Even with the thinning of trees in some areas it still felt private, good buffers between some campsites, and beautiful scenery. Vault toilets, no running or potable water, but plenty of larger nearby campsites to fill up water at if needed. Solid enclosed bear resistant garbage containers. The river was freezing and completely invigorating. No cell service on either my Verizon or AT&T phones- which was great.
