“Only A Couple Places For Small Trailers”

We only found 2 spots (not including the space next to the highway) where our 20 foot trailer could fit. One was on a hill that was too steep to maneuver, so maybe a sprinter or rec van would work, and our spot. It was approximately 3/4 of a mile down a dirt road (not too washboardy) on the left side as you drive in. It was a nice ... more
We only found 2 spots (not including the space next to the highway) where our 20 foot trailer could fit. One was on a hill that was too steep to maneuver, so maybe a sprinter or rec van would work, and our spot. It was approximately 3/4 of a mile down a dirt road (not too washboardy) on the left side as you drive in. It was a nice back in spot well before the big hill down to the old townsite. It was dusty from all of the traffic going to and from the old townsite. Down at the old townsite, we saw a couple of places, but all pretty small and maneuvering or 20 foot trailer down the hill and over some narrow rutted roads was out of the question.

Sure, sure...there’s a cooler spot 6 miles down that red, gravel road. With rain in the forecast and a 15’ camper in tow, I setup in the lot next to highway 89. Easy in, level, lots of space to watch the stream of vans and truck toppers really “get back” there. Beautiful, busy Utah.
