Great for an overnight. But dogs will be miserable. Couldn't take 10 steps without having to pull a thorn out of the pups paw.
Good Tmobile 5g Bit of road noise but not much.

Super simple and easy pulloff. Fairly level gravel lot, easy access to freeway. We stayed in a 38 foot fifth wheel and were just fine. Freeway noise but nothing horrible.

Arrived afternoon, only two others parked. One more guest came in the evening. Little car noise from highway. Great Cell Reception - AT&T (with Cell Booster)

Gravel parking lot right next to a road used by truckers. Would be okay for a pull off for a night but wouldn’t want to hang out here

We checked in with the ranger station here to ask about access to White House campground and were cautioned against it (we are towing a 23’ trailer) because of a couple of deep, sharp dips on the way in, as well as the fact that any amount of rain could strand us in there.
We were directed to another camp spot on the other side of the entry to Paria Contact Station. I don’t see it on the campendium map so am listing it here. It is a large, gravel site big enough for 5 or 6 trailers of same size and a few fire pits scattered around the ring. From the highway turnoff you go right just past the fence onto a dirt road, and the gravel site is a very short ways down on the right. There are two entrance points and plenty of room to turn around.
Peaceful, with very little highway noise after dark.
There are drinking water and restrooms at the ranger station, plus two dumpsters nearby.
Fast cell/ internet service here as well as on the Toadstools Trail!
Would definitely stay here again.
Alicia would stay here again
